A burning desire for love when one is unable to love another.  Because we often struggle with loving one another properly, we reduce them to fleshly objects of desire.  This is especially true of anyone lacking in discipline.

"You have heard that it was said to those of old, 'You shall not commit adultery.'  But I say to you that whoever looks at a woman to lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart."

Lust is another form of fornication.  It's a perversion of natural, healthy sexuality between a man and a woman.  Instead of upholding the dignity granted to us by God and honoring Him in our relations, we seek to use the other for pleasure.

We offer sessions to help those who are dealing with all manner of lust, including addictions to pornography and masturbation (more aptly called self-abuse).

As the saying goes, anger is not a happy sin.  It's not like the feeling we get when indulging in food or drink or other earthly pleasures.  No, it is sacrificing a part of one's soul to the evil one—it is giving in to the demons who whisper in our ears.  Anger has its place, such as when Christ denounced the Pharisees for their selfishness and hard-heartedness—but as with everything, can be perverted and misused.

This is especially so if we desire vengeance against those who've done as wrong.  "Truly, I say to you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven," Christ said to his disciples.  As long as we hold onto grudges and anger, God will judge us accordingly.

We provide sessions for those struggling with anger and wrath to better control it and orient oneself towards God.

Another all-too-common problem of people today is envy and resentment towards others for what they have.  We see the good fortune bestowed upon others by God and we curse and despise them for such things, just as Cain did of his brother Abel.

"But those who desire to be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and harmful lusts which drown men in destruction and perdition."  Wise words from the Apostle Paul, who aptly points out that a lack of gratitude and humility will lead to our own demise.

We offer sessions to anyone who feels as though he is often envious of others around him.
